grandpa is coming over soon. i hope we have enough different kinds of birds for him. he is now used to a twenty by twenty yard encircled by a privacy fence - all in sight are the roofs of the other bland development houses,, , and the dry alabama sky. i hope he loves it here. you have to have eyes of a hawk to see the other houses,, .. . too bad he's only staying for a few days.

this place is almost home now. the clutter has been weeded,,, almost to the old house's normal clutter level. i'm still having trouble with dreams and sleeping comfortably. strange how you can be in the same bed. same sheets. but the air and the ground your bed on , even while you're asleep, makes the entire difference. what you see before you close your eyes? this sounds incredibly corny, but the best sleep i've had here was not after reading a familiar book, or while snuggled next to molly; it was after looking at this silly picture of a chubbier brently in a fellows lap,, ,, smiling his right about to say something terribly funny and laugh at his own joke smile. . looking straight at the camera.. .. . .. . .ham.
